PSPA Ireland is a registered charity and the national support organisation for people with the rare conditions: Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Corticobasal Degeneration/ Syndrome (CBD/CBS).
We provide information, support, raise awareness, advocate and lobby for our members at national and international level. We provide information talks for healthcare professionals and engage in research.
These neurodegenerative disorders impact the ability to walk, talk ,see and swallow alongside cognitive and behaviour changes. They are difficult to diagnose, frequently misdiagnosed as Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease or Stroke.
